Purpose of Job: 

Needs to manage internal servers, Maintenance of eMedia and Isha Shoppe servers, a critical task, as the server needs to be running without failure. 

Job Responsibilities :

• Experience in handling large traffic websites/large scale events (traffic in millions of visitors).

• Ability to load test web applications to handle heavy loads by using tools like k6, loadimpact and identify the weak points in an application.

• Good knowledge in Server Hardware (Should have some experience in Data Center)

• Handle complex Deployments.

• Good knowledge on Virtualization Tools (VMWare)

• Provide Hands on assistance to the server engineers & Immediate escalation for any urgent issues and speeding up the solution

• Bring automation wherever applicable with the focus in security

• Ability to clearly express the problem & provide RCA if there is an issue.

• Proactive to conduct Problem Management

Skill Competencies : 

• Good knowledge in IAC tools such as Terraform

• Good Infrastructure level programming skills (Eg: Python)

• Strong knowledge on configuration management tools, such as Ansible.

• Good knowledge on Dockers and Containerization

• Good knowledge on Container orchestration tools. (Kubernetes )

• Experience in handling large traffic websites/large scale events
